3 ways to fix:
\n1. Map Admin Shares with the built-in administrator account
\n2. LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy \u2013 UAC remote restrictions<\/p>\n

To get rid of the Access Denied message, follow this procedure:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Launch the Registry editor by typing regedit.exe in the Start Screen.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\System.<\/li>\n
  3. Create a new entry by right-clicking System<\/b> and then selecting DWORD (32-bit) Value<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy as name for the new entry.<\/li>\n
  5. Set the value of LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy to 1 by right-clicking the new entry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    3. Disable UAC Admin Approval mode<\/p>\n

    Note: Disabling\u00a0UAC Admin Approval mode will also disable the Windows Store app.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Launch Control Panel<\/b>, type admin\u2026<\/b> in the search box, and then click Administrative Tools<\/b>.<\/li>\n
    2. Open the Local Security Policy application.<\/li>\n
    3. Navigate to Local Policies > Security Options.<\/li>\n
    4. Disable the policy User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Note: For Windows 11
      \nIf you want to configure auto-login, then you need to disable the \u201conly allow Windows Hello sign-in\u201d option using the following steps:<\/p>\n

      1. Click Start, Settings, and click Accounts.<\/li>\n
      2. Click on Sign-in options<\/li>\n
      3. Turn off the radio button under the Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts<\/strong> section.\n
        The description \u201cFor improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device (Recommended)<\/em>\u201d is self-explanatory.<\/div>\n

        NOTE:<\/strong> The Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts<\/strong> option would be missing if no Microsoft accounts are configured on the computer.<\/div>\n

        \nHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\PasswordLess\\Device<\/p>\n

        Value name:
        \nDevicePasswordLessBuildVersion<\/p>\n

        Data:
        \n0<\/code> means Require Windows Hello sign-in is disabled
        \n2<\/code> means Require Windows Hello sign-in is enabled<\/p>\n

        Deleting DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion<\/code> or setting it to 0<\/code> would enable the \u201cUsers must enter a user name and password to use this computer\u201d checkbox.<\/p>\n

        <\/span>After disabling the above setting, close and reopen the User Accounts dialog by running netplwiz.exe<\/code> or control userpasswords2<\/code><\/div>\n
